Yes to Life

"I’d like to personally welcome each of you to the Nutritional Science and Cancer Congress.

It’s an exciting time for Yes to Life as we continue to adapt and open to new ideas. Our organisation is confronting many changes and we’re meeting these during a time of wider nationwide and global change. The world of Integrative Medicine is an exciting area in which to work, and we’ll continue to meet and bring inspired people together in forums like this, to ensure our organisation remains at the cutting edge. We should all be very proud of where we are today and excited about where we are headed.

You, our supporters and beneficiaries, are truly our greatest asset today and tomorrow, and we could not accomplish what we do without your support. My personal respect and thanks go out to all of you."

"I’m completely delighted to welcome you to our groundbreaking conference on Nutritional Science and Cancer. Within the 16 years that Yes to life has been supporting people with cancer, Nutritional Science has emerged, come of age, and is ready now to go out and change the world. The speed of development and the growth of interest have been spectacular, and have supported huge strides forward in our understanding of the role of nutrition in chronic disease.

Of course there are still many unanswered questions, and as we move forward, yet more emerge. But one thing is now certain: there’s simply no ground left for the 'it-doesn’t matter- what-you-eat-if-you-have-cancer' advocates to stand on.

Our world-class line up of speakers today will make this abundantly clear. The science is already here and the message is plain. All that remains is for mainstream health providers to get on board."

About

Research into the effects of nutrition in cancer is accelerating, notably in countries which have embraced the concept of Integrative Medicine. As a result, our understanding is growing rapidly which in turn is leading to fresh strategies, as well as supporting some that have flourished as therapies outside of the mainstream. The concept of diet as a strategy for managing cancer at every level is beginning to be widely accepted by many leading authorities.

This two day on-line Congress explores this fascinating and crucial topic from many angles with a workshop-focused day delving into immunity, the nutrigenetics and more, and a day of in-depth presentations from leading figures from the field of Nutritional Science.
